Harvest Moon Festival This Weekend

Granbury, Texas- Fall is here and it’s time for the Harvest! Arts and Crafts, Fall Produce, Entertainment, a kids Amusement/Carnival area, and delicious food are all part of the Harvest Moon Festival, to be held on the Historic Courthouse Square from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, October 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday,
October 24, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free.

Saturday’s event will include a Scarecrow Decorating Contest, Decorated Pumpkin Contest, (all entries will be displayed all day), Kids in Costumes Contest (children under 10 years of age) and a Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest.

You won’t want to miss the Antique Engine and Tractor Show in Lambert Branch Park and the Antique Tractor Parade at noon on Saturday.

Special entertainment by local entertainers will be held on our stage with performances on both Saturday and Sunday.

Don’t forget the “pooches” on Sunday make way for the ever-popular Pooch Parade, where pooches get dressed up, do crazy tricks and parade around the square. Also, let the kids participate in the Hot Dog Eating Contest, great fun!!
