An Evening of Oriental Dance, Vol. II” to Benefit Kids’ Armor of Hope

GRANBURY, Texas ~ Where Texas History Lives...and East Meets West! Experience a taste of the orient without ever leaving Granbury. No passport required.  For ONE night only, at the Granbury Resort Conference Center on Thursday, May 10, 2012, Belly By Heather and the Langdon Center Oriental Dance classes will present their annual benefit showcase.  All proceeds from this special event will go directly to Kid’s Armor of Hope, a local, faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of abused, abandoned and neglected children in Hood County. Enjoy enchanting music, rich textiles and colors, new dances and costuming.  Doors open at 6:30 pm. Show starts at 7:00 pm. 

General admission is $10 for adults, $5 for 12 and under.  Tax deductible monetary donations are welcome and can be made out to Kids’ Armor of Hope.

The showcase will feature student and instructor performances along with special guest artists, Ruvani of the Isis Star Dancers Performing Company and Sa’diyya of Texas!  Sa’diyya is the 2011 Belly Dancer of the Universe title holder.  Also featured, will be classical guitarist, Paul Clark.  It’s elegant, quality entertainment suitable for the whole family.  It’s “DANCE that makes a DIFFERENCE!”
