Lopez Signs with Cisco Junior College

Destini Lopez, a senior on the Granbury Lady Pirate softball team, will be continuing her education and playing career at Cisco Junior College following her graduation from Granbury High School in May 2015.  The announcement was made on January 19, 2015, at GHS. GISD School Trustees Approve Interlocal Agreement to Help with YMCA Construction

The Granbury ISD Board of Trustees met for its regular monthly meeting on January 19, 2015, and approved an interlocal agreement with the City of Granbury that will help with the construction of the forthcoming county facility for the Hood County YMCA. Choir Sweetheart Banquets Set for February 9 & 10

Choir students from Granbury High School and Crossland Ninth Grade Center will hold Sweetheart Banquets during two performances on February 9-10, 2015, in the Crossland cafeteria. The evenings, which will be from 7:00-9:00 P.M., feature lots of music and dancing with hors d’oeuvres and desserts served. Ribbon Cutting Ceremony - Oak Woods School/GISD

A ribbon cutting event was held today, January 14, 2015, at the Oak Woods Elementary on Davis Road.  This ribbon cutting was to commemorate the final installment of the controlled entry vestibules for all GISD elementary and middle schools as part of the 2013 Bond package to improve the schools. Granbury High School will host a College and Career Fair on the evening of Thursday, January 29, 2015.  The fair will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the high school cafeteria.
