Four playoff games at Pirate Stadium brought hundreds of people to Granbury during the UIL football postseason in November and December 2014. “With these four games, we hope this is the start of hosting a number of playoff games that bring even bigger crowds to the community,” commented Granbury ISD athletic director Dwight Butler. Tarleton State University Plans Fort Worth Campus

Walton Group of Companies donates 80 acres for proposed project.  Tarleton State University today announced plans to build a campus in Fort Worth adjacent to the newly constructed Chisholm Trail Parkway at Old Granbury Road. The National Honor Society at Granbury High School will be holding the tenth annual “Tunes for Tots” charity fundraising competition on Thursday, December 11, 2014, at 7:00 P.M. in the GHS Bagby-McMahan Performing Arts Center.
