The Granbury High School Art Show highlighting student art and photography work was held on May 8, 2013. Jack Goodman was named 2-D Artist of the Year. Clarissa Jackson was the Ceramic Artist of the Year, while Makenna Martin was the Sculpture Artist of the Year.  In photography, Sarah Perriello was chosen as the Photographer of the Year. 5th Annual Granbury Wine Walk This Weekend

The fifth annual Granbury Wine Walk will kick off April 24th-26th on the Historic Square in downtown Granbury. Graduation Nears for the Class of 2014

With just over a month left in the school year, the Granbury High School Class of 2014 - which numbers about 370 seniors - is making preparations for graduation. Graduates will receive their high school diplomas at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 29 at the Fort Worth Convention Center. Dobie Williams Named Finalist for Assistant Superintendent

Dobie Williams is the finalist to be the new Granbury ISD assistant superintendent for finance and operations.  Superintendent Dr. James Largent will make the recommendation on April 14, 2014, to the Board of Trustees, which must approve the appointment.  If approved, Williams could begin his duties in early May. Healthy Kids Summer Lunch Program to Begin June 3rd

The Healthy Kids summer lunch program will begin on Tuesday, June 3, 2014. Free lunches will be available to all area children 18 years old and younger.  “To eat, just show up,” said organizer Micky Shearon, who serves as president of sponsoring organization Operation School Supplies.
