Q: What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
A: I am blessed to get to work with Granbury’s businesses and the great staff at the Chamber. These individuals believe in working together, encouraging one another, and they are a true reflection of what makes Granbury so special!
Q: The best piece of business advice I’ve been given is:
A: Always be curious and willing to learn! Be willing to be challenged as well as encouraged and remember to enjoy the journey because it is the people you encounter along the way which makes the journey so much sweeter.
Q: Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
A: I been declared the best Nammaw in the world (by my oldest grandson, Robert).
Q: What are some causes you care about?
A: Education, child abuse prevention (anything pertaining to kids). They are our future leaders.
Q: In my spare time I enjoy:
A: Spending time with my husband, Russell, our daughter, Heather, son-in-law, Kevin, and our two fantastic grandsons, Robert and Witt. Football, baseball, camping, hiking, fishing and dinosaurs are a few of the activities/things I enjoy.

Q:What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
A: Being able to connect people, creating collaborations, advocating, educating and inspiring individuals and businesses to build a stronger community while sharing my love for Granbury!
Q: The best piece of business advice I’ve been given is:
A: Building relationships are key. Make people feel important, give them a sense of belonging, and create trust by being genuine and honest. I strive every day to live by the words of Maya Angelou: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” MMFI is one of my practices…ask me about it someday.
Q: Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
A: Haha…I can do the worm like nobody’s business.
Q: What are some causes you care about?
A: This is the hardest question for me because there are so many that are dear to my heart. A few of them are child abuse prevention, human trafficking, human rights, mental health, education, and foster care/adoption.
Q: In my spare time I enjoy:
A: Spending time with my son, friends, and family. Being active, adventurous, and outdoors doing just about anything like biking, kayaking, hiking, camping, listening to live music and volunteering are also some of my favorite things!

Q: What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
A: Being a part of something where I feel like I’m making a difference in the average person’s life. The chamber helps businesses grow and the local economy to flourish. That translates into a city with a better quality of life and living.
Q: The best piece of business advice I’ve been given is?
A: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters
Q: Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
A: I was a baton twirler with state and national championship titles in the advance division as a teenager. Being in my 30’s, every now and then I pick up the baton and play around but clearly not at the level I use to be at!
Q: What are some causes you care about?
A: Fostering, adoption, and human trafficking.
Q: In my spare time I enjoy?
A: Meeting up with my close friends for lunch or dinner, spending quality time with my son, attending live sporting events or concerts, getting out on the lake, and treating my son and his friends to food, a movie, or other fun activities!

Q: What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
A: I love getting to work with an incredible team of people who love this community. This is what makes our businesses and community great, people working together to make life better for themselves and others.
Q: The best piece of business advice I’ve been given is?
A: First, just listen and learn. Never get tired of learning.
Q: Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
A: I can make some pretty awesome volcanos. I love science!
Q: What are some causes you care about?
A: Animal rescues and child trafficking.
Q: In my spare time I enjoy?
A: Spending time with my husband, kids, and grandsons. Exploring the great outdoors. Reading and writing.

How much does it cost to join the chamber?
The Granbury Chamber has six levels of membership that are designed to provide options based on your business needs. Basic Business starts at $300 per year and the Chairman’s Circle starts at $3,000 per year. We also offer a non-profit rate of $200 per year. CLICK HERE for a complete list.
What does the Granbury Chamber actually do?

Yes! We have partners that consult at no-charge, for all levels of business planning:
• Small Business Development Center at Tarleton State University
• SCORE Ft. Worth
Both SBDC and SCORE conveniently meet with members at the chamber, or virtually, if you prefer.
