Weatherford College Opens Online Scholarship Application

Weatherford College officials have opened the online application system for fall 2014 scholarships. The deadline to apply for scholarships is March 21. The WC Foundation, supported by private donations since 1978, oversees more than 110 permanent scholarship endowments. Ribbon Cutting Ceremony - 360 Nutrition

A Ribbon Cutting ceremony was held on January 16 for 360 Nutrition - Dana Curtis, located at 3246 Fall Creek Highway. Driver's Education Class to Begin January 20

The Granbury ISD Community Education Office will be offering a driver’s education class beginning on Monday, January 20, 2014.  The classroom portion will be held from 4:30-6:30 P.M. each weekday in the Lecture Room at Granbury High School.  Curtis Allen will be the instructor for the session, which will last four to six weeks prior to the driving portion. Granbury High School will host a College and Career Fair on the evening of Thursday, January 30, 2014.  The fair will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the high school cafeteria. TCEQ Announces Grants for the Texas Natural Gas Vehicle Grant Program (TNGVGP)

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today announced that up to $24 million in grants is being made available to encourage an entity that owns and operates a heavy-duty or medium-duty motor vehicle to replace the vehicle with a natural gas vehicle or re-power the vehicle with a natural gas engine.
