The Granbury ISD Board of Trustees met for its regular monthly meeting on January 20, 2014, and hired a construction manager to undertake facility projects for the $84.975 million bond program approved by voters in the November 2013 election. JROTC Rifle Team Shines at Junior Olympics Trials

Members of the Granbury Marine Corps JROTC shined at the Junior Olympic Air Rifle Trials held January 11, 2014, on the campus of Texas Christian University. has been selected to compete in its first-ever national competition. Granbury High School was represented by Rebecca Anderson, Hunter Dowell, Stephen Schofield, and Tyler Morrissette. Weatherford College Opens Online Scholarship Application

Weatherford College officials have opened the online application system for fall 2014 scholarships. The deadline to apply for scholarships is March 21. The WC Foundation, supported by private donations since 1978, oversees more than 110 permanent scholarship endowments. Driver's Education Class to Begin January 20

The Granbury ISD Community Education Office will be offering a driver’s education class beginning on Monday, January 20, 2014.  The classroom portion will be held from 4:30-6:30 P.M. each weekday in the Lecture Room at Granbury High School.  Curtis Allen will be the instructor for the session, which will last four to six weeks prior to the driving portion.
