Best of Business "BOB" Awards Banquet set for February 14, 2014

The Chamber has announced the date for the 2014 Best of Business "BOB" Awards Banquet - February 14, 2014.  The "BOB" Awards Banquet is the big event of the year when the Chamber recognizes distinguished businesses and individuals from 2013.  The theme is "An Evening in Casablanca" and takes place at the Granbury Resort Conference Center. 

Iron Horse B & B host Women in Business Event

GHS & Crossland Set Fall Open House

Granbury High School and Crossland Ninth Grade Center have both set Fall Open House for Monday, September 9, 2013 The evening events provide a time to visit with teachers and campus administrators. Crossland will welcome parents and students from 5:00-6:30 P.M., while the GHS event will be from 5:30-7:00 P.M. GHS counselors will also hold a Senior Parents Meeting that evening beginning at 7:00 P.M. in the GHS cafeteria.

Ribbon Cutting for Papa Chulo's

A Ribbon Cutting ceremony was held for Papa Chulo's on August 23 located at 1300 South Morgan in Granbury.  Bennie Mata is the proud owner of the new Mexican restaurant.  The restaurant has a bright, colorful decor and offers meeting rooms for private dining.  The menu offers a large variety of items and plans are to offer home delivery in the future.  Contact them at 817-573-3800.   Welcome to Granbury and the Chamber, Papa Chulo's!  

Granbury Dairy Queen Ribbon Cutting

It's official, Dairy Queen of Granbury is now open for business.  A Ribbon Cutting ceremony was held on August 22 at the new location at Hwy. 377 and Avalon Drive. Benefit at Rangers Stadium for Tornado Victims Tonight

Over 50 first responders, tornado victims and their family and friends loaded the bus headed to the Rangers Ballpark. Tune in to the Rangers Live pregame show tonight at 6:30 p.m. to bid on VIP sports and entertainment packages in the live auction to raise funds for Granbury and Oklahoma victims affected by the tornadoes in May.   

GISD School Board Calls for $84.9 Million Bond Election

The Granbury ISD Board of Trustees unanimously voted to call an $84.975 million bond election for November 2013 during a special meeting on August 19, 2013. GHS Holds Summer Graduation Ceremony

Granbury High School celebrated student success at Summer Commencement exercises on August 16, 2013. Two students earned high school diplomas as part of the summer graduation. The students are Megan Alisha DeBerry and Maria Gabriela Jimenez.
