Ribbon Cutting Ceremony - Doc Possum's BBQ

A Ribbon Cutting ceremony was held today for Doc Possum's BBQ located at 3132 Fall Creek Hwy.  Pete James is the proud owner of the restaurant.  Doc Possum's has a full bar and a covered outdoor patio that will host live music on the weekends.  Pete and his family are long-time residence of Granbury, dating back to 1863.  His great-grandmother lived on the property along with other family. TCU Horned Frogs Pump Up GMS Students

The TCU Horned Frogs were in the house to pump up Granbury Middle School students during a pep rally on October 31, 2013. Highlighting the rally were the TCU Pom Squad and SuperFrog, the university mascot. JROTC Competes in Marksmanship Contests

The Granbury Marine Corps JROTC competed in the 8th Annual William J. Bordelon Air Rifle Tournament and the Civilian Marksmanship Program State Championship Tournament at Central Catholic High School in San Antonio on October 26-27, 2013. Guinness Officially Names Welch as Record Holder

It's been a year since Granbury High School student, Cody Welch, did 44 consecutive back handsprings at the Homecoming football game on October 26, 2012.  But Guinness World Records finally made him the official world record holder. First 50 Fellas Foodfest a Smash Hit

The first 50 Fellas Foodfest was a rousing success for the Granbury ISD Education Foundation.  The event, which will be an annual fundraiser, was held October 19, 2013, at the Granbury Reunion Grounds’ Courts Cleveland Showbarn. Granbury Schools to Dismiss Early on Friday, November 1
