In preparation of the tornado relief benefit at Texas Rangers Ballpark on August 20, Texas Rangers staff hosted interviews with tornado victims and visited the site today. Ribbon Cutting Ceremony - Rodney Gabe Hatch Insurance

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Anniversary Celebration - VFW Post #7835

The Chamber had a full house today at the Member Link Breakfast held at the Hilton Garden Inn. Rodney Hatch with Insphere Insurance Solutions, one of our newest members, was the sponsor for this event. New Directors to Lead GHS Band

The Granbury ISD band program is welcoming two new directors beginning in the 2013-14 school year.  The new staff members will be leading bands at the middle schools and will be assisting the Granbury High School band. The Granbury Wine Walk Benefits Local Charity Groups

The Granbury Wine Walk Committee is happy to announce that the proceeds from the 2013 Granbury Wine Walk have been gifted. Because of the support of our volunteers and community, the Wine Walk has donated $17,000 to three different causes. Both of our beneficiaries, Mission Granbury and Preserve Granbury, each received an $8,000 check on the July 9th. We are excited to see them continue the good work they do. New Administrators to Lead Campuses

Several Granbury ISD schools will begin the 2013-14 school year with new campus administrators. New principals are Ron Holmgreen at Crossland Ninth Grade Center and Leslie Tewell at Baccus Elementary School. Meanwhile, new assistant principals are Tammy Clark and Victor Sauceda at Granbury High School, Chelsey Gibson at Oak Woods School, and Ammie Hill at Crossland. Fox Sports and Rangers Host Benefit for Tornado Victims

The Chamber has been working with the Texas Rangers Foundation and Jim Sundberg to raise funds for tornado victims since May.  Mr. Sundberg was the guest speaker at the Chamber luncheon just two days after the tornado.  He committed at that time to find a way to help those affected.  Save the date for August 20 and join in the live auction during the Astros vs. Rangers Telecast.  See press release below:
