"Icy Summer" Theater Camp Coming to GHS

Granbury youngsters are invited to join the Granbury High School theater arts program for an “Icy Summer.”  The theater camp is planned for August 4-8, 2014, at GHS. The camp is open to all students entering grades 3-8 for the incoming school years.  The group will be split into three levels by grade during the camp, which will be 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. each day. Superintendent Discusses Summer Construction Projects

Granbury ISD superintendent Dr. James Largent visited with parent-teacher organization officers, teachers, and other community leaders during walk-throughs at three elementary campuses on June 19, 2014. GISD Trustees Extend Superintendent's Contract & Hear Bond Report

The Granbury ISD Board of Trustees approved a contract extension for superintendent Dr. James Largent and heard a report on bond construction during its regular monthly meeting on June 16, 2014. The board action followed trustees completing a summative evaluation of the district’s leader, whose three-year contract now extends through June 2017.  As part of the contract action, Largent will receive a new base salary of $185,000.
