Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday in the heart of Historic Granbury Square during Granbury’s 52nd Annual Hometown 4th of July Celebration!

 

Join us July 3–5, 2026 for a patriotic weekend full of family fun, live entertainment, vendors, the hometown parade, fireworks over the lake, contests, community celebrations, and more.

This year’s theme is:
RED, WHITE & CELEBRATE – 250 YEARS!

We are honored to recognize the Dan Coates Family as the 2026 Parade Grand Marshal.

Whether you’re visiting for the day or spending the entire weekend in Granbury, we invite you to celebrate with us in true hometown fashion.

🎟️ New This Year – VIP Parade Bleacher Seating – Limited Opportunities!

Bleacher Seating for purchase. Three zones with bleachers, Zone one between Red’s on the Square and Shaws Southwest. Zone two beside the announcer booth on the square. Zone three at the Presbyterian Church parking lot. Bleacher Seats sold in blocks of 10. Choice of zone is on a first come first serve basis.

The Granbury 4th of July parade is one of the most anticipated events over the course of the festival. Drawing over 15,000 viewers this is a sure way to get your business or organization in front of a large crowd. Interested in participating?  Visit Granbury’s Historic downtown with artisan vendors around the courthouse.

July 4th
9am

Start your day off with Granbury’s famous parade. Beginning at Granbury High School and ending around the downtown square, the parade stretches over 2 miles long, allowing for plenty of viewing opportunities. 

9am – 5pm

Visit Granbury’s Historic downtown with artisan vendors around the courthouse.

Around 9:45PM

Keep your eyes on the sky for the Granbury Fireworks, beginning at dusk (typically around 9:45 pm). The fireworks are shot off over the lake, directly behind the Pearl Street Bridge and can be seen all over the Historic Small Town. CLICK HERE to learn the best places to watch!
