JULY 1ST - 4TH | HISTORIC GRANBURY SQUARE

Presented by the Granbury Chamber of Commerce, H-E-B, Visit Granbury, and the City of Granbury, Granbury’s Hometown 4th of July Event draws people from all over the world. The Festival includes vendors on the Historic Granbury Square, a Hometown Parade, and Fireworks over the lake.

“United We Stand…One Nation”

The Granbury 4th of July parade is one of the most anticipated events over the course of the festival. Drawing over 15,000 viewers this is a sure way to get your business or organization in front of a large crowd. Interested in participating? Start your day off with Granbury’s famous parade. Beginning at Granbury High School and ending around the downtown square, the parade stretches over 2 miles long, allowing for plenty of viewing opportunities.

Around 9:45 pm

Keep your eyes on the sky for the Granbury Fireworks, beginning at dusk (typically around 9:45 pm). The fireworks are shot off over the lake, directly behind the Pearl Street Bridge and can be seen all over the Historic Small Town.

Golf Classic

The prestigious Chamber Golf Classic has been an annual event for over 24 years and is sponsored by local businesses from Hood County. This year’s tournament is presented by First National Bank and will take place on Friday, May 5th.

What to expect

Tee TIme

This year’s shotgun start will begin at 8:00 am. Each golfer will be assigned a starting hole prior to the event. 

Contests

There will be various contests throughout the tournament including Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, and more!

Awards

Teams with the top three scores will be awarded gift cards to the Harbor Lakes Pro Shop. There is even an award for last place!

Food & Beverage

A light breakfast and lunch will be provided to all participants at the event. There will also be drink carts driving around the course throughout.
